One thing I noticed is that Carmello looked serious when he said Syracuse University his old school for one year should give him a degree for all the money he is donating. Now this has been a reoccurring problem with Carmello saying ignorant shit that makes him look exactly what he is a spoiled selfish pampered athlete. First he makes the donation for a tax write off and for his image, so he can say how he gave back. And if you want a degree be a real example and take the courses like everyone else and get your degree. It is clear Carmello Anthoney still has a lot of growing up to do.

NBA DRAFT 2009: Did Brandon Jennings Hurt Draft Status with 5.5 ppg, 2.5 ast Overseas?

The NBA Draft is coming up and there are a few questions coming into the draft about former high school star, now below average overseas player Brandon Jennings. He just finished playing a year overseas because he could not pass the SAT test in order to play at Arizona State With the new age rule in the NBA, he has choosen overseas to become a pro. There are lots of speculation from scouts and NBA analyst on if he is worthy of being a top 10 pick in the draft. He averaged 5 ppg and 2 ast which are not even close to being top 10 draft pick numbers. Brandon Jennings remains confident telling the media "just wait until they see me workout". Hopefully, that is true because the Golden State Warriors are looking at him and that organization cannot afford to waste a draft pick on a below average overseas Rookie. Time will tell! Personally the young star John Walls at Kentucky looks like he would give Brandon Jennings a run for his money.

2009 NBA Finals LA Lakers WIN Championship Kobe Gets his Fourth Ring and Phil Gets his Tenth

The L A Lakers are the 2009 champion's of the NBA being led by the best player in the game Kobe Bryant and the best coach in the game, Phil Jackson. This is the fourth ring for Kobe and 10th for Phil Jackson. But everyone knows this championship means a lot more to Kobe Bryant than anyone else since he was hell bent on proving he could do it without SHAQ. From Game 1 of the Finals, Kobe came out and set the pace for the series with his dominate play and a mean mug that would make a child cry. The rest of the team just followed his lead and played great team basketball. In Gm 5, Kobe did the same thing he came on the court with one thing in mind and that was winning he dazzled the Orlando Magic fans with hanging fade-aways and several ESPN worthy plays. Trevor Areaza was also a major factor offensively and defensively for the Lakers success, which puts him in a great position for entertaining the free agent market this summer. Derick Fisher also came with his hard hat, solid frame, and went to work. While the whole time Coach Phil Jackson sat on the bench with his cool demeanor and let his team go to work. Not the best NBA Finals, but maybe this will help that Boston vs L A rivalry to start back up. The one sad thing in this series was that even on the bench as a coach Patrick Ewing could still not get a NBA championship ring.

The trade helped the NBA if anything because know they can advertise SHAQ and Lebron also Kobe is quietly restoring his marketing value after his alleged rape case, the NBA TV ratings can use the help and the arenas. One last thing when SHAQ does not get his way or if they start losing Coach Mike Brown better watch out because he will be first in his sight's.
